The Gatsby

Historic building located just two blocks from the beach in the heart of the East Village section of downtown Long Beach. We recently completed a major restoration project bringing all 36 units to their original turn-of-century style.

Our twenty-nine studio and six one bedroom units have restored hardwood floors and wood trim and many have bay windows. In addition, each unit has a beautiful built-in wood desk and cabinets, most with a full size matchbox bed. Antique rococo style steam radiators warm each unit and 1920’s pedestal sinks, original claw foot tubs, and period black and white hexagon tiles highlight our baths. All kitchens are equipped with four burner gas stoves, oven, and refrigerators; and have plentiful counter space.

Our building is DSL and cable ready. Since this is such an old building there is no onsite parking, however we have contracted with a local parking structure to handle your parking needs (for an additional charge). We have laundry in the basement and business center both open during business hours.
